Default automatic feeders

I have been thinking about getting an automatic feeder. Here lately, it's easy to forget with working late some evenings. One time the light was out when I feed them. I just think it would be nice for them to get fed at the same time everyday.
I see some have built in fans that keep the food dry.
Does anyone use one? Any thoughts?

Default Re: automatic feeders

I wouldn't recommend them. They are more trouble than they are worth. Fish can go a week without being fed, so missing a day won't hurt, actually it could be helpful. I have heard stories of the power going out and when it came back on, it dumped almost the whole container of food in the tank.
