At least snails, crayfish, feeder fish, have a chance to hide, a mouse is trapped.

I agree with Dano watching a fish or any animal kill for entertainment is wrong.

I totally agree Dano, i dont like it when it is done just for the thrill of watching an animal suffer, i myself could never do it, i havent got the eyes for it lol. But seriously keeping fish in captivity requires us to be as responsible as possible and it is therefore our duty in ensure that we recreate, as much as possible, thier natural environment. If that is eating live food then so be it.

At least when a mouse is in a reptile tank it has a fighting chance.

Plus it would make a mess in the tank.

I dont know much about this fish and its eating habits but if it doesnt eat unsuspecting mammals in the wild then they shouldnt be fed like it in captivity.

A mouse in a reptile tank has not got a fighting chance at all!!! my friend has a snake and it will only eat live mice, not dead ones. Again feeding it live food is part of its natural feeding habits, I myself couldnt watch it, I hate things like that lol

ok thats a neat fish.. i like having fish that are oddities in a main tank..if i ever get a bigger tank i want a freshwater stingray. those are just awesome

good luck with your wolf fish..

i agree feeding live food to animals is cruel, specialy when there are so much out there to keep it healthy..i willl say i am guilty though.. we once had 2 red tail boa snakes, and we fed them live mice..it was like having national geograpic in the house..seeing it strike and eat the mice like on tv..we ahve LOTS of snakes down here, but nothing that feeds like that.i am scared to death of snakes, but fascinated with them also..so seeing that in real life i ahve to admit was awesome..ok... i hate feeding feeder fish.. even baby brine shrimp, so im not a animal cruelist..and i love all animals( except frogs).. ok bash away on the snake story
