Default Gold claw Crab ?

Hello all,
I recently purchased a golden claw crab,9really cool little guy), and just wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this type or for that matter any type of crab. I have placed him in a 77 gallon tank with other community fish, but was just wondering if he required anything special. Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

The rule I go by when it comes to crabs, crayfish, frogs, newts, and other specie other than fish is this "if it can eat fish it will so keep it in it's own tank"

I remember as a kid one of my friends parents thought it would be cool to put a fire bellied newt in their fish tank and within a week all they had left in the tank was the newt (darn thing ate everyone else). I have also heard similar accounts with people adding crayfish to their tanks.

Hope this helps,
Dave
