Default picture of a female RCS (shrimp)

thought I would share a pic of one of my female red cherry shrimp. The females are the ones with color, the males are pretty clear with a little red on them.

Juvenile:

Adult female and a couple juveniles on a moss that is unknown type to me (with some java moss behind it).

Adult female on some water wisteria that is floating:

All photos taken with Pentax K20d DSLR camera with old manual 35mm lense at 80mm focal length/macro setting which gives a new focal length of 100mm (1.5 multiplier when using old style lenses with digital camera bodies). Lighting provided solely by the two tank lights on the 20 gallon tank.

Enjoy,
Dave
