Question ??? Stocking Tank

Hi...

I'm new with this fish stuff and I don't know what fish goes together, my question... I have a list and I was wondering if they all would be fine together?

Rosy Barb
Planty's
Tetra's(Neon, Bloodfin, Rummynose, Cardinal, Congo,Glowlight, Green Fire)
Rainbow's (Boesemani, Praecox)
Ram's (German Blue & Red Ram)
Gourami's

Sorry for the long post & all the questions I ask, I'm just learning.

Thanks,
Sugarcookie

Actually, those fish have different requirements. You have to choose between these two communities:

Community 1:
Preacox, Rams, Tetras (Cardinal, Neon, GlowLight)

Community 2:
Bosemani, Barbs, Platys

Checkout the Compatibility search in the website for more fish.

I really like the Tetra's, Rainbow's, Planty's, what about the Rosy Barb, would it get along with any of these?

Thanks,

What is the pH of the water in your aquarium? If you don't have the pH testing kit, you can take little bit of water to a Local Fish Shop(LFS) or Petsmart to find out.

sugarcookie how big is the tank you were thinking about putting the fish in?
You might want to check out our Fish Care section. It will teach you about water quality, fish diseases, and much more. It helped me alot when I first started.

Barbs are better in species only tanks, they tend to be nippy and aggressive.

I think the Community 1 tank would give you least problems.

Hi
I would not but the rosy Barbs in because they sometimes nip other fish the tetras, Rainbows and Gouramis maybe not the Rams
