Default Suggestion for a sticky in this section

Would someone please make a sticky with the information on it for the 'vinegar' test that is used to determine if rocks are safe for the aquarium or not? Also it might be helpful to add information on how to clean things brought in from outside ie., boiling them, length of time to boil etc.

I think this might be helpful for new people.

Thanks Bernie!

Can we add a sentence or two referring to rocks that pass the vinegar test should be boiled for about three minutes or so to kill parasites etc?

The sticky looks good- lots of information. I'm always getting questions from my school kids about putting rocks & driftwood in their home tanks. I can direct them here now and they can refer to this at home.

Thanks again
