Default Any room for an African Butterfly Fish?

I have been doing alot of research on these fish. (It keeps popping up when I google African Butterfly Cichlid)

Do you think I have room in any of my tanks for one of these fish?
They only get to be 4 in.

I found a good article on them. Here is the link:

If you have room in your tanks that are 20+ then your good. But don't chichlids like other chichlids to live with them, not other fish?

Thanks for the link about the African Butterfly Cichlid Pwat, I'm still waiting to get my replacement after my other jumped out of the LFS's tank.

I think I've rounded my options to the 40 gallon and the 29 gallon angel tank.

Hey Cole, you got a solid cover on the tank with absolutely no holes/gaps anywhere?? From what I keep reading, ( as Im sure you already have too ) butterfly fish are excellent jumpers and will eventually find any tiny crevice to try and get out- don't even leave the lid open for a second with your back turned! Also, they like mainly live insects, crickets and spiders seem to be their favorite - its usually warm where you are year round, right? You should have a good supply of free food
My only concern is the angels, which are in both tanks you've chosen as a possible home - I wonder if they will be ok with their long feelers. I guess butterflies can become aggressive when eating/stalking prey and I don't know if one might mistake a tentacle for food, it would look so tempting swaying in the current. Or someone getting in the way when he's eating and attacks. I think it would be ok though, you do watch your fish closely and would notice if there was a problem. Maybe, just to avoid any confrontation, you could feed the other fish using a feeding surface circle thingie to keep them on the opposite side of the tank and then drop some bugs in for the butterfly. Obviously Im not an expert, these are just things I thought about after doing some reasearch , I could be totally wrong

Thanks for the Input Cher I guess I could sprinkle some food where the filters flow is, that way the severumns and angels dont have to go to the surface to get food.

I was also thinking about the hood and decided that the 29 gallons hood is a little oversized and has to many gaps, the 40 gallon will probably be best for me.

My LFS sells Millworms and Crickets. If it doesn't eat the flakes or worm cube I guess I could pick some of them up.
