so today i get a call from a friend asking me if i want a wolf fish with the 90 gallon fully set up tank hes in ( he is moving and cant take him with him) ...but i don't know there allot of fish with allot of attitude the thing has eaten a filter before i still think im going to take it because its an amazing fish will post pictures if i do take him

great score, I have never seen a wolf fish, nor know anything about them but at that price who would complain.

He does sound "intimidating"....I assume there are no tankmates... Who can turn down a free tank...especially a 90 gal....

Is this the Wolf Fish you are talking about? I saw a YouTube video of some one feeding a live mouse to a large one. If I had been there, the person that dropped the mouse in the tank would not have any front teeth!!

Like Dano I have also seen videos of this fish on Youtube. (I didn't watch the mouse one because I thik it's cruel)

It seems like the only thing you can feed them are feeders, What type of feeders does your friend feed it.

Personally I would feed it ghost shrimp and rosy reds, and an occasional comet goldfish as a treat (they are junk food).

Watch out these fish have teeth.

lol i know it does i love to watch it feed at the moment hes eating minnows that my friend is breeding ( to cut out possibility of disease) shrimp and even snails that get too big but its a monster i will also through in some large meaty frozen foods to varie its diet
