Default My first Tetras!

Today at the LFS I picked up 6 red eye tetras

They were all on sale for 99 cents each, (I couldn't resist)

I always liked them ever since I saw a pic of them Sharon posted, and so far they are great.

I just got six diamond tetras. I need to get a few more as they are chasing and nipping at each other quite a bit. Getting a few ragged fins.

I'm really amazed at their actvity level

Do you have pics of your red eyes?

What are Diamond tetra like to keep Greensleeves? I got 6 peppered corys from my LFS and they accidently put a diamond tetra in the bag so i have one on its own. Im thinking of getting a small school of them, would you recommend?

No pics yet.

They were acting kinda nippy towards eachother so I added three more.

The tetras are really pretty when they all school together. I just brought home four more to add to the school. The tetras keep to themselves and don't bother any of my other fish. I have a total of ten and I just love them.

I'll bet the peppered cories are really cool when they do their shoal thing
