I'm actually wondering about that, too. I added the Blue Gourami to my 55gal. a couple of days ago. She's a very mean fish. There's no aggression from her, in this tank, except at feeding time...it makes sense...

Same is true for puffers. If you keep them well fed they do much better with a tank mate. Amazingly marine salt calmed down my larger gsp who had bit his mate several times. Has not since adding marine salt.

There is always something more to learn about fish.

I keep Diamond tetras in my big bow tank have for years. There are my #1 tetra. I always have them in any tank I set up. They do do alot better in large #'s. A school of 10 or more would be best & will calm them down.
