Default Shelves in the aquarium

Does anyone know how to do this and what supplies would be needed? The shelves would not be in the water but rather near it. I'm planning on making some shelves for my turtles but they'll need some dry land as well. Thank you, if you've ever done this or have any articles to share that would be great. I'd like to add that the turtles are small and young, so the shelves won't need too much supporting right now.

Thanks.

My grand sons have a turtle tank....10gallon with gravel and a turtle ramp....The water is only kept at about 4 inches deep and has a small filter for circulation......The turtles seem quite healthy and happy.

I'm a bit limited with the 10 gallons. I was actually planning on doing it in a tallish 5 gallon. The filter nozzle is low enough for me to put enough water for the turtles. Do you know if i should use silicone to hold the shelves up or any other material. I truly wish i could do this with a 10 gallon but i'm a bit poor right now .

I'll start looking for one or a few that work in the tank.
