Default treatment of ich in a planted aquarium.

hi all. i hate to post this but i noticed ich on my green severum. he is in a 55 gallon planted tank with some other fish. what can i treat with that wont kill my plants???

Malachite green?

Coppersafe?

Formalin?

Maracide (by Mardel)?

any ideas???

10 gal- 2 tiger barbs, 2 red phantom tetras, 2 (very young) raphael catfish

I have used Quickcure (malachite/formalin) with plants, and only noticed that anacharis was stunted....I imagine that full strength for a long time would be bad for the plants......Most including salt are suspected to harm plants......Could you put the plants in a bucket until you have treated the ick and charcoal filtered the tank?
