Platy weak and not eating
My red wagtail platy has been acting unwell for about a week now. She initially would swim out from hiding and eat a little, then she started spitting out the food, now she mostly ignores it, although she might have eaten a bit of freeze-dried brine shrimp that floated her way this morning. She either hides behind the filter at the top or rests on the bottom. She had clamped fins 4 days ago, so I added some salt over two days (total 1.5 Tbsp in 16 gal) and she isn't clamping anymore, but still I'm worried. I've been keeping the light off. This is how all my mollies were before they died... She doesn't look bloated and there are no external signs of disease. I feed mostly spirulina-based flake food with various freeze-dried foods twice weekly. I haven't used any medication in the tank.
I do weekly pwc and water parameters are perfect: pH 7.8-8.0, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 5-10. I keep the temp at about 78 F. The other platy and the molly fry are fine.
Has anyone ever seen a fish recover from this? Any other suggestions?
