Default What to Do???

I have moved my Tetras out of my 55 gal. tank. I have room for some fish, now, but don't really know what to add. I'm thinking a fairly large school of something, but it will have to be able to deal with the Angel fish and the Knife fish. Any suggestions?

I already have three Rainbows...There used to be six. I don't find that they really school, even when there were six.

Gourami's? or some golden white clouds if they are compatible. Or cory's? IDK if you like those fish or not but those are my suggestions. I still haven't decided what to get for my possible 20 gal.

I'm thinking of (for 20 gal):
2 swordtails(they are a couple already)
2 gourami's
mollies(previous ones from my 10 gal)
gardenri killifish(probably only one)

Good luck with yours though. Could you please tell me if my choice is ok? Thanks.

My Long fin Black Tetras are the show in my 55. They are very active and play constantly. They chase each other and have spiraling "dog fights" like the old fighter planes, but they do no harm to each other. So far they haven't bothered any of the others. I highly recommend them for any tank with medium fish. They usually stay jet black and occasionally dark grey and are about 3 in long. I wonder if they are available in Newfoundland?

It just occurred to me that they might not do well with fish that might go after their long fins.

Dano,I've never seen the long finned black tetra...I have seen the long finned black skirt, but they are grey with black markings. Bernie, I was actually considering Danios, either Giant or Zebra. I wonder if the Zebra would be OK.........with the Knife and Angel. My Knife is really not supposed to be aggressive. A large school of Neons would be my choice, but I don't think it would be a good idea.

I love the way my 2 Glofish Danios play. They play just like Danos Long fin Black Tetras. Soon I will be adding some Danio Zebras. I've read a school of Danios is best and they would not be happy other wise but these guys break the mold! They seem very happy .

Sharon can you tell I love Danios? I highly recommend them although I do not know first hand anything about the other Danios other then what I read. All I know is my two are a blast to watch and easy to care for.

I'd love to put Glofish in my tank but I think there to small & would only become a rainbow snack. They are beautiful little fish.

Sharon...I think the Long Fin Black Skirt are the same fish as mine just different popular names. Some where in the Tetras forum I posted some pics.
